2008
Keith Haring Tribute
March 2008 – December 2008

Goldman Properties Founder and avid art enthusiast Tony Goldman acquired ownership of the Houston Street wall in 1984. In 2008, Tony Goldman and gallery art dealer Jeffrey Deitch launched a curated program for the wall, featuring street artists from around the world. The project kicked off with a re-creation of Haring’s piece in honor of what would have been his 50th birthday.

Os Gemeos
July 2009 – March 2010

Brazilian street art duo, Os Gemeos, were next invited to create an original installation on the iconic wall. Twin brothers Otavio and Gustavo Pandolfo, began their careers in graffiti in 1987. As their influence spread across the graffiti urban community, they began to help define Brazil’s very own unique style.
